ABOUT

OUR FAMILY

WHAT IT REALLY IS ALL ABOUT Erin grew up in the small, coastal town of Raymond, Washington. Erin is the expert behind our social media and outreach to our wine club members in addition to being a public school Principal in Washington. Nicholas joined our family in November 2010. Because family and tradition is so important to both Jason and Erin, Nicholas is named after his father's paternal grandfather, Nick and his mother's maternal grandfather, Edmund. In September of 2014, we were blessed with our daughter, Olivia. She is a spunky, independent little girl who enjoys running through the warehouse and sitting on the forklift right along with her brother. Together we are working to build the winery, with much continued love and support from our families.

JASON MORIN, WINEMAKER

A LIFELONG PASSION AND EXPERIENCE Jason comes from Gig Harbor, Washington. He grew up learning about life and fishing from his father, Marty, and Grandfather, Nick. Jason's journey to wine making began while helping his grandparents make wine in their basement. He holds a degree in biology from the University of Puget Sound and after years of work in sales, with wine collecting as a hobby, Jason decided to learn more about the wine industry. A few classes at South Seattle Community College's Northwest Wine Academy led him to the conclusion, why couldn't we start our own winery? So, he completed their production program and with his new found knowledge and a little wine making in his blood the adventure began.

WINE STORY WHY WE CHOOSE THE WINES WE MAKE Each of our wines has a special place in our hearts. They all have a back story that ties in with our family’s history. From our initial core Bordeaux Style blends “La Sœur” and “Le Frère” that represent the sisters and brothers of our family to our annual spring release of “Grandma Lila’s Rose” named for Erin’s grandmother who swore that any pink wine was “The good stuff,” and wanted you to save it for her. We hope that the stories and ancestry we have for all of our wines will only be the beginning of many more that we can all share together.
